Episode 119 – Interview with Former NFL and CFL Head Coach Marc Trestman

Today’s special guest is Marc Trestman. He has a long coaching career, starting with winning a national championship as an assistant coach with the University of Miami. After multiple stops as various position coaches and coordinators, Trestman earned his first head coaching job with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. While there, he won two Grey Cups. After a stint as head coach of the Chicago Bears and as offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, he became head coach of the Toronto Argonauts, winning another Grey Cup. He finished as head coach and general manager of the Tampa Bay Vipers of the XFL. He is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Miami’s School of Law.

In this episode, host Ken Crippen talks to Marc Trestman about translating leadership and culture from football to the corporate environment.

For our Pro Football History Nugget of the Week, we focus on head coaches who have won three or more major professional football championships.
